Shipping Lines

  • New Routes: Maersk launched ASAS2 service (May 14), doubling Santos port calls and boosting capacity 25%.
  • Rates & Fees: Hapag-Lloyd/Maersk imposed PSS up to $2000/40ft; CMA CGM levied low-sulfur surcharges for Mediterranean ECA compliance.

Air Cargo 

  • Volume Drop: Asia-N. America air cargo down 10.7% YoY; China-U.S. e-commerce shipments plunged 43% due to U.S. tariffs
  • Airlines Performance:
    • China Eastern: Cargo RTK +10.58%, international volume +13.45%.
